Why rail-less mounting on a corrugated roof
A conventional rack runs a continuous aluminium rail across the array and clamps the modules to it. On a corrugated roof, Deo Solar’s bracket takes the place of that rail: each framed module is clamped to pre-assembled brackets seated on the sheet crest. Leaving the rail off reduces the length of aluminium on the roof and the amount of on-site cutting. The bracket is PA6-UV glass-reinforced composite, corrosion-resistant and non-conductive, and each stitching screw is fitted with a sealing washer. Corrugated roof compatibility
Use this bracket on corrugated profile sheet within the manual’s 22 mm crest limit. It is the wrong part for IBR trapezoidal sheet and for Klip-Lok or Saflok standing seam. Those roofs have their own brackets.
How installation works
This is the outline. Torque, sheet checks and safety rules are in the installation manual, and the manual governs the install.
- Complete the array layout and mark every bracket position before fixing.
- Place the bracket on the crest so it can align with the profile.
- Fix it with a stitching screw and sealing washer on each side, after a visual check of the sheet.
- Seat the framed module and tighten to the torque in the manual. Landscape and portrait each have a section in that manual.
